It belongs in dedicated traversal builds that already justify spending at least 36 points in Mobility and repeatedly convert map geometry into faster rotations.
Tradeoff
What the points do not solve
The high threshold makes it a defining commitment. Taking it leaves fewer points for Conditioning resilience or Survival looting utility, so it should not be added as an isolated one-point luxury.

When to allocate it
Plan the entire prerequisite chain and replay the picking order before committing. The builder will reject the capstone until both required connected skills and the 36-point tree threshold are satisfied.
